Jubilee coming soon

The Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) Jubilee committee has been working overtime to bring a great Jubilee celebration to town this year.

Wednesday, July 6

The 57th Jubilee starts with the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus on Wednesday, July 6, at the rodeo grounds at 1001 West Converse (next to the rest area west of town) with the first show at 5 p.m. and the second at 7:30.

The C&M Circus is an authentic one ring big top event that has been entertaining audiences for 37 years and is bringing their brand new 2022 performance to Moorcroft featuring big cats, aerialists, bareback riders, daredevils on the tight rope and the wheel of destiny to name only a few performances.

For those who would like to get a behind-the-scenes view of the raising of the big top and an opportunity to get a better understanding of life on the road for the circus members, both people and animals, early guests are invited to drop by at 9:30 a.m. and the midway opens to the public at 4 p.m. for some fun before the main event with pony rides, moon bounce, giant slide and face painting.
