In last week’s issue, page 2, Recognition (continued), painter Steff Mummert would like to clarify that, “It was stated by Karla Brandenburg that paintings I did

of the Pine Haven Fire in 2021 will hang in the Pine Haven Community Center. While I appreciate the recognition, it should be noted that these four paintings

had originally been purchased by Sharon Coleman and 100% of those proceeds were donated to the Pine Haven Fire Auxiliary. Sharon then donated the paintings to the Community Center.”
