CROOK COUNTY LAND USE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MINUTES AT THE COURTHOUSE IN SUNDANCE, CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING

Monday, August 8, 2022

7:00 p.m. Present were Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury, Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen, Member, Mary Yemington, Member, Ralph Goodson, Member Dustin Buckmiller was absent.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury asked if there were any amendments to the agenda. Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved that there are no amendments to the agenda; Member, Ralph Goodson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved to adopt the agenda as presented; Member, Ralph Goodson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury asked if there were any additions or corrections to the July meeting minutes. Vice-Chairman Randy Leinen moved to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held July 11, 2022; Member, Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury welcomed the visitors attending the meeting and asked that they introduce themselves. In attendance was Paul Harris, Pat Donahue, County Board Chairman, Kelly Dennis, Sharon Oster, and Jim Oster. Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury opened the floor to take comment from the visitors in attendance. Discussion was held concerning the proposed Large Acreage Subdivision Regulation.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury opened the discussion concerning amendments to the subdivision Disclosure Statement and Covenant requirements for the Major and Minor Subdivision Regulations. Discussion was held; Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved to recommend that the County Commissioners add the additional wording recommended by the County Attorney and amended by the Land Use Commission for Subdivision Covenants and Disclosure Statements be added to the proposed Large Acreage Subdivision Regulation; Member, Mary Yemington seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

Chairman, Morgan Ellsbury opened the discussion concerning Land Use and Zoning Regulations. Discussion was held and the Land Use Commission members asked that a map of the county be created that would show the current land uses based on the county property tax use codes.

Vice-Chairman, Randy Leinen moved to adjourn the meeting; Member, Ralph Goodson seconded, all ayes, motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 8:56 p.m. to meet in regular session on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the Crook County Courthouse Jury Room in Sundance, Wyoming.
