Orvin Bennett

Orvin Bennett, 94, of Cheyenne, died July 28. Orvin was born in Fort Collins and was raised in Moorcroft by a cousin, Luna Tibbutis, and her extended family, the Lesters. He served in the Army during the Korean War and worked for BLM on the Keyhole reservoir. After h

e retired, he moved to Story and you could always find him working in his garage.

Orvin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lavern Bennett and his three sons, Albert and wife Ella Bennett, Vern Bennett and Mark and Billie Bennett. Orvin is also survived by his five grandchildren and ten great grand children to whom he was an amazing grandpa. He was also a cousin to lifetime Moorcroft resident Rosalie Brimmer.

There will be no services; Orvin will be cremated and his ashes scattered later.
