Spook time

Ghosts and goblins are almost upon us, and many local homes are already playing host to the spooks of the season. Moorcroft's annual Trick or Treat Street will be held on Saturday, October 29 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Moorcroft Town Center (the old Elementary School gymnasium). The Moorcroft Parent Action Committee will be hosting the event to provide a fun, safe place for kids to enjoy Halloween. Festivities include a cake walk, games, treats and prizes. A Haunted House will be available for the brave of heart as well as a "Not So Spooky Spook House" for the little ones. Come join the festivities and have a safe, enjoyable Halloween. Meanwhile, in Pine Haven, the community center will host its Halloween party on October 29 from 1 to 3 p.m., including a cake walk, pumpkin ring toss, guess the candy jar, touch and feel boxes, goodie bags and more. If you would like to enter the pumpkin carving contest, bring your finished pumpkin by 1 p.m. for the judging at 2 p.m. On Halloween itself, join the festivities at the Pine Haven City Park for the Trunk or Treat event. Line up at 6 p.m. if you would like your vehicle to be included.
