No ARPA funding for now

While Moorcroft did not apply for ARPA grant funding this time around, Mayor Ben Glenn said of the experience, “This one [gave] us a good idea of what’s happening [according to the recommendations].”

Pine Haven had chosen to apply for $1,232,280 to upgrade hydrants within the municipality, replacing old and adding new, but were turned down.

Mayor Karla Brandenburg assures residents, though, “We do have about $95,000 in previous ARPA funds that we may use to put in some of the new hydrants we need down on BOE drive, the council will have to talk about that at next meeting [and] we will be applying again.”

According to HDR Engineering’s Heath Turbiville, 113 entities applied for the ARPA grant in Cheyenne with only 19 recommended for funding.
