Public Works clears 2400 tons of snow from downtown

Moorcroft's public works director Cory Allison, operating the town's backhoe, and crewmen Dave Elliott and Cody Amende, running the skid steer and loader respectively, worked with Fuller Construction equipment operators to clean up approximately 2400 tons of snow along the downtown area streets last week.

The department had hired Fuller for the first day to assist with the removal of 120 large loads to the Westview baseball park west of town. The construction company brought two side dump trailers to the job, allowing the majority of blockage to be removed the first day; the municipal crew cleaned up the remaining snow the next day so the town's business routes were cleared in two days.
