The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming
Pine Haven has a new director of their public works department. Sean Glasser lives in Pine Haven and is enjoying his first full month as director.
"The department is great and we are going to try to make it just that much better and make everyone happy as we can," he says.
While the director has lived full time in town for the last five years, his grandparents had a home in town and he has been around Pine Haven throughout his life. When he was younger, he lived in Gillette, but, "I wanted to find something here long term [because] I love the area. I know a lot of people here and my mother lives here. I love the people of this amazing town!"
The public works position is a natural fit for Glasser, who says, "I have always been in the construction dirt work business fixing and building new roads, water, sewer, foundation and a lot of grading for pads, etc. [and] I enjoy the work that we have accomplished and the pace is awesome. It's my own and not too over whelming [so] we have no problem getting the job done, whatever it may be!"
Glasser is looking forward to making the position his own in the coming months and serving the needs of the community.
