Moorcroft's Public Works crewman Cody Amenda flushes one of the nearly 100 municipal hydrants Thursday morning. The crew has been freshening these water taps throughout the last week, from Texas Trails west to West. They do this at least once annually and let the water spray for about five minutes. "[This is] to make sure everything works," Public Works Director Cory Allison explained, "and to keep the water from getting stagnant from setting in there."
