What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

We started an Adult Summer Reading Challenge June 5: Travel the USA at the Moorcroft Branch Library! Adult readers are challenged to read six books from specific regions across the USA.

Books can be non-fiction about the specific area, written by an author from the area or be set in the area. Stop by and pick up your reading log today.

Young readers are invited to Travel the World at Your Library! Registration for summer reading is open until June 13. All ages are welcome to join Miss Lacey at Robinson Park for Storytime each Wednesday at 10 a.m. as she introduces games, food, language and animals from destinations around the world.

Summer reading prizes are sponsored by American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, Blakeman Propane, Clearwater X-Spurts, Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, Deere Haven Liquor, Dewey’s Place, Donna’s Diner II, Flowtech Fueling, Key In Storage, Keyhole State Park, Moorcroft Equipment Rental, OC’s Storage, Paradise Foods and Pinnacle Bank.

New Adult Books

The Sisterhood Series, by Fern Michaels, follows a group of women from all walks of life, bound by friendship and a quest for justice. Armed with vast resources, top-notch expertise and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will not rest until every wrong is made right.

We have recently completed our collection of the Sisterhood Series, by Fern Michaels. We now have all 34 books in this series. Several of our patrons have enjoyed this series in the past and a few are enjoying it now. I personally restarted this series and find that it is packed full of action and adventure with just a hint of romance.
