What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

We are excited for Moorcroft’s upcoming Jubilee celebration! Library staff will be giving away free books during many of the weekend’s events.

Youth patrons are invited to join us for the Jubilee Parade. We have room for up to 20 children to ride on our float. Parents will need to contact the library for more information.

Travel the USA @ The Moorcroft Branch Library! Adult readers are challenged to read six books from specific regions across the USA.

Books can be non-fiction about the specific area, written by an author from the area or be set in the area. Stop by and pick up your reading log today.

Summer reading program is in full swing. Young readers have been invited to Travel the World @ Your Library!

Participants can earn prizes for reading and attending events such as Movie Fridays or Storytime. All ages are welcome to join Miss Lacey each Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Robinson Park as she introduces games, food, language and animals from destinations around the world.

Our final summer reading event will be a family BBQ on July 12. We will kick off the BBQ with Storytime at 10 a.m. followed by prize drawings and lunch and water games.

Pinnacle Bank will grill the hot dogs donated by Coffee Cup Fuel Stop and Diehl’s Supermarket will be providing buns.

We will also have chips and drinks. Participants and their family members are welcome to join us for food and fun.

If you are unable to attend the BBQ, please bring reader passports to the library by July 11 so we can determine raffle entries. Prizes are sponsored by American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, Blakeman Propane, Clearwater X-Spurts, Coffee Cup Fuel Stop, Deere Haven Liquor, Dewey’s Place, Donna’s Diner II, Flowtech Fueling, Key In Storage, Keyhole State Park, Moorcroft Equipment Rental, OC’s Storage, Paradise Foods and Pinnacle Bank.
