Bills headed into playoffs

The 5th/6th grade Moorcroft/Rozet Bills had their final regular season game Sept. 26. They ended the regular season with one loss, their very first game, a one-point loss.

However, they didn't let that stop them. They took that loss and let it propel them into an extraordinary season. They had games where they didn't allow a single first down and five games where they didn't allow a single point to be scored on them.

The Bills went into the playoffs as the number one ranked team in the league, packing in 249 earned points and only 44 points scored against them. The Bills have put in the work, week after week, developing into one of the strongest contenders in the league.

These boys have had incredible coaching leadership under Jarrod Driskill, of Rozet. He and the assistant coaches have done an outstanding job teaching and leading the team to a successful season.

The Bills take the field Oct. 3 at 7:45 p.m. for their first playoff game. If they win that game, their next game is Thurs., Oct. 5 at 7:45 p.m. Both games will be at the Energy Complex in Gillette, on Field 1.

The boys would love the support of our community as they prepare for and work toward the incredible feat of playing in the most coveted game of the year. The Championship game will be held on Sat., Oct. 7 at Campbell County High School at 7:30 p.m.

Let's Go Bills!
