What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

December is full of holiday cheer at the Moorcroft Branch Library. Please join us for our fun activities!

December 10 - Join us for Storytime and Craft with Santa’s Elf at 3:30 p.m.  Get your parking spot on main street for The Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights and join us while you wait for the parade to start at 5.   Don’t forget to stop by the Mousse Lodge for a hot cocoa bar and visit Santa at West Texas Trails Museum after the parade. 

December 13 - Storytime at 10 a.m. and After School Program at 5 p.m. will both include gingerbread cookies and hot chocolate.

December 19 - We are hosting a Holiday Treat Exchange 5:30-7 p.m.  Hot cocoa and apple cider will be provided.  Bring at least two dozen of your favorite holiday treat.  We will enjoy some while we visit and all attendees will get to take home new treats to share with their friends and family.  Recipe cards will be provided.  You can email your recipe to [email protected].

December 21 - Adult Book Club will meet at 1 p.m.  Read a Christmas book of your choice for this month’s meeting.  Feel free to bring a treat to share as we discuss our books and share holiday goodies. 

The Holiday Silent Auction, hosted by Moorcroft Friends of the Library, will end at 5 p.m. on December 15.  Stop by the library to see all the items available including a sugar string easter egg made by Terry Williams, holiday decor, books, aloe vera plants and so much more.  Proceeds will be used to upgrade the youth services computer area.
