The Voice of the Community Since 1909, Serving Moorcroft and Pine Haven, Wyoming

What's happening at the Moorcroft Branch Library

Happy New Year! As your holiday celebrations become memories, many of you may now be thinking of New Year’s Resolutions.

The library is the perfect place to find inspiration to create your resolutions or ideas to help you meet the challenges you have set for yourself. Our 2024 resolution is to be a hub for our community and to offer programs and services that are beneficial to northeast Wyoming.

Adult book club meets the third Thursday of each month, at 1 p.m. For January 18, we are reading The Little Dark One, by Shirley Munoz Newson. This is a “switched at birth” true story, written by a Gillette, WY native. We have copies available for checkout even if you are unable to join the discussion.

Our 24 in ‘24 Adult Book Challenge has begun! Participants are challenged to read books and ebooks or listen to audiobooks from 24 different categories by 12/31/2024. Stop by for your log sheet today. Prizes will be awarded in January 2025.

Join us to watch Sing 2 on Friday, January 5, at 1 p.m. Popcorn will be provided. Feel free to bring other snacks and drinks, as well.

Visit us online https://www.crookcountylibrary.org/moorcroft-branch.html to see all the fun we have scheduled. You can also follow us on Facebook, stop in or call the library at 307-756-3232 for more information or to sign up for upcoming events!
