On January 16, police were requested to do a welfare check on a resident. Officer contacted resident, and all was well. Nothing further.

On January 16, police were contacted regarding a possible break in attempt at a residence. Officer met with the resident and took report.

On January 17, while on patrol, officer observed a large fire south of the high school. Officer located the fire which was unattended. Officer waited on scene while Dispatch contacted the property owner. Owner arrived and officer advised them to remain with the fire to avoid it becoming uncontrolled. Nothing further.

On January 19, police were requested to unlock a vehicle at the Moorcroft High School for an owner who had locked their keys inside. Officer was able to gain access to the vehicle. Nothing further.

Stats: thirty-seven business checks. Three traffic warnings. Eleven crosswalk/ school zone. Suspicious activity. Vin check. Fire control. Public service. Vehicle unlock. Welfare check.

Citations: No passing zone. Stop sign. Expired or suspended driver’s license. Two citations for no registration.
