On January 30, police assisted EMS on an emergency call.

On January 31, police took a report on a possible stolen or lost license plate. Plate was entered NCIC.

On January 31, police were called to a possible domestic disturbance. Police arrived on scene and spoke to the individuals involved in the dispute. Individuals were separated for the night and in the process of gathering belongings to leave the residence, officer noticed a clear bag that appeared to have methamphetamine inside. The bag was taken into evidence and a citation was issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

On February 2, officer noticed a vehicle on I-90 above Yellowstone Ave with their hazard lights activated. Officer went and checked on the vehicle. The vehicle, a truck, had been pulling a trailer when the trailer came off the hitch. Officer assisted the driver get the trailer back onto the truck. Officer stayed on scene while vehicle safely re-entered the interstate.

On February 3, police conducted a civil standby with a landlord while they served an eviction notice.

On February 3, police conducted traffic control for a funeral procession.

On February 4, police were notified of damage to a meter pit. Officer spoke with the man who advised they had accidently struck a meter pit with his vehicle. Officer photographed the damage and took the man’s information.

On February 6, police clerk assisted a resident with writing a letter to Illinois Tollway for an incorrect billing of unpaid tolls.

On February 6, police assisted EMS on an emergency call.

On February 9, police received a report of a State of Wyoming traffic sign being damaged. Officer located driver of vehicle who hit the sign. Citation issued for Hit and Run.
