Over the weekend, Junior Varsity and Varsity had their Homecoming games. On Friday, JV played against Bighorn and took it to three sets, winning the first set, 27-25 and losing the two other sets, 16-25 and 15-25. Varsity lost in three sets against Bighorn, but didn't go down without a fight and ended with scores, 25-11, 25-12 and 25-19. This weekend, Moorcroft had their first home games against Buffalo and Glenrock. On Friday, the Varsity played Buffalo; despite their best efforts, the girls unfortunately fell short with scores: 25-12, 25-12, and 25-7. On Saturday, Varsity played against Glenrock and the girls played hard and came close to a win with scores; 25-23, 25-14, and 25-19. This weekend, the Lady Wolves played in the Rawlins Volleyball Tournament. Varsity started Friday off with games against Lyman, Rawlins and Thermopolis. Although falling short in their first game against Lyman, the girls played well as a team. In the games against Rawlins, Moorcroft lost the first set, but fought hard to win the second match, 21-17.
