    With the resignation of Kristy Speed in April, Pine Haven’s governing body has been actively seeking applicants for the empty council seat. The council tentatively chose a replacement during an interview session last week.     Members of the Rage Baseball team were onsite at the upper baseball field at Moorcroft's Westview Park Saturday, starting the restoration of the diamond. Bringing in a frontend loader, the ground was scraped back and the previously capped sprinkler heads reinstalled before the new sod is laid. Jon was born on February 22, 1970 in Gillette, Wyoming to Donna and Earl "Melvin" Mellott. He grew up on a ranch north of Moorcroft. He attended school in Moorcroft from kindergarten to 12th grade.     In recognition of May being Hepatitis Awareness Month, Crook County values the importance of getting screened, so Crook County Public Health is extending free hepatitis C rapid testing through the month of June. Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus. Millions of Americans have hepatitis C, and many are unaware of it due to having no symptoms.     Gillette woman’s prison sentence commuted GILLETTE (WNE) — The prison sentence of a Gillette woman convicted of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from a homeowners association in the early 2000s has been reduced to time served, making her eligible for release.
