Golfers hold their own as season begins

The season is off to a good start for our golfers with the first two tournaments in Sundance and Wright.

On the boys’ team, Caden Connally placed in the top ten in both tournaments. He placed fifth at Sundance and sixth at Wright.

On the girls’ side, Kaylei Petz placed eighth in Sundance and was just out of the top ten at Wright.

Weather conditions were perfect for Sundance, but Wright’s tournament was windy and chilly, which led to some higher scores.

All of our golfers are playing solid and we are looking forward to improving our scores over the next few tournaments leading up to state on Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21.

We go to Upton this Saturday and Devils Tower next Monday. So we’re looking forward to getting back out on the course and improving.
