Positive reports for council

Public Works and the volunteer fire department were the only town departments with reports to give at last Tuesday night’s meeting of the Pine Haven Council.

DEQ recently inspected Pine Haven’s sanitation system, according to Public Works Director Sunny Schell, “and that went really well”. Other than a screen that had to be adjusted to the department’s newest restrictions, the town passed comfortably.

Schell had to shoot a skunk that had distemper within town limits a couple of weeks ago so people are encouraged to watch their pets out of doors.
