Lady Wolves start strong

The Moorcroft Lady Wolves started strong this season. The Lady Wolves went to the Douglas Volleyball Tournament and made it into the gold bracket, having a strong first day. The team went 3-3 for the weekend.

The Lady Wolves started tough, beating 3A Wheatland and battling against Newcastle, losing in three sets. They also faced 3A Buffalo and lost the match in two sets.

On Saturday, the team faced 3A Wheatland and won again. The Ladies advanced and fought against 3A Burns, but lost in three sets at the end of the tournament.

The Wolves placed sixth out of 16 teams, which were a mix of 2A and 3A schools.

I am proud of how we started the season for our first tournament. We still have a lot of work to put in and some things to work on, but I am very excited for our future season ahead.

This group of athletes works hard and is competitive, and I am excited to see where this takes us!
