Wolves fall to Tigers

On Friday night, the Moorcroft Wolves voyaged south to Niobrara County to battle the Tigers of Lusk.

It was difficult for the Wolves to get a complete drive going as they would move the ball but couldn’t quite finish off the drive. They struggled with turnovers and had a hard time stopping Lusk, ultimately falling 50-6.

The lone touchdown came on a Zane Linder-Kyler Smith connection in the second half of the ball game. Zane Linder completed 11/24 for 168 yards to lead the passing game.

Chaz Dewey led the team with six catches for 66 yards. Kyler Smith had three catches for 58 yards. Cade Williams and Randy Peters each contributed a catch as well. Richie Allison had six tackles. Wyatt Allred and Oliver Gorsuch each had a fumble recovery also.

This week the Wolves football team will host the Wright Panthers for Homecoming week. Be sure to come out and support your hometown Wo15lves team this Friday night!
