The Company also requested additional rate changes effective on June 1, 2022. The net effect of the proposed changes to the components of the total volumetric rate is an increase of $0.2872 per therm, effective June 1, 2022. The result is a monthly increase of approximately $5.61 (14.5%) for residential customers who use a monthly average of 20 therms during June-August 2022.

Commission Rule Chapter 3, Section 26 allows a utility to pass on to its customers known or projected commodity cost increases or decreases on a dollar-for-dollar basis, subject to public notice, opportunity for hearing and refund.
