This year's Homecoming Week began with recognition of Moorcroft's athletes and with the inclusion of seventh and eighth grades into the secondary school. To this end, the celebration of school sports embraced rodeo and Special Olympics as well. Principal Nicholas Redden summed this season's changes up in a sentence: "Coming into this, we need to build the mindset that all of our students are here, it doesn't matter whether they're junior high or high school – we're all Moorcroft Secondary."
