Track season kicks off at Newcastle's Laura Chord Invite

At the Newcastle Laura Chord Invite on Thursday, March 21, the Wolves put on a good show. It was so much fun to check out all the talent we have at our school.

In the Men's 100 Meter Dash, Dima Haskell ran a 12.30; Oliver Gorsuch ran a 13.72; Trenton Gra, 13.99; Braydon Keller-Decoteau, 14.98; and Justus Mills, a 16.76.

In the Men's 200 Meter Dash, Braydnn Terry ran a 26.91; William Ripley, 27.04; Jacob Anderson, 27.40; Xavier Swiger, 28.23; Oliver Gorsuch, 28.79; and Trenton Gray, a 30.71.

In the 400 Meter Dash, Braydnn Terry ran a 58.63; William Ripley, 1:02.25; and Jacob Anderson ran a 1:06.12.

The Sprint Medley (200, 200, 400, 800) team of Dema, Trenton, William and Braydnn ran with a time of 4:19.99.

In the Shot Put, Oliver heaved the sphere 33'5.50" inches and Breydon KD put the shot 31'00.50". Dima launched the discus 118' and Breydon KD let it fly for 52'07".

In the Long Jump, Dima soared 17'11.25" Trenton sailed for 15'6.5" and Xavier jumped 9'11.75".

In the Women's competition, 200 Meter Dash, London McCrea whizzed by with a 29.18 finish; Talia Vargas sprinted to a 30.20 finish.

Talia ran her 400 Meter Dash in 1:07.83, earning eighth place.

In the 100 Meter Hurdles, Lani Gill finished with a time of 20.97.

In the 300 Meter Hurdles, London McCrea earned third place with a time of 50.75 and Talia finished with a 55.22.

In the Shot Put, Clarissa Moebius put the metal sphere 20'1.5" and she launched a discus 46'3".

In the Women's Long Jump, Lani Gill jumped 14'1".

These young men and women were a blast to watch compete! I am so proud of them and of what they were able to do.

It's going to be so much fun to see what else they can accomplish.
