Wolves take on Upton

On Friday, April 12, the Wolves traveled to Upton for the Mick Tonkel Fly High Invite.

In the 100 Meter Dash, London McCrea earned sixth place with the time of 13.87, Kylee Keller-Decoteau ran her 100 meters in 16.99. In the 200 Meter Dash, Talia Vargas earned third place with the time of 29.44 and Melibe Downey ran her 200 meters in 35.00.

In the 400 Meter Dash, Talia place third again with the time of 1:06.78. In the 300 Hurdles, London took first place with the time of 48.93 and Talia earned fifth place with the time of 53.78. The Lady Wolves team of Talia, Kylee, Melibe and London earned a fourth place finish in the 4X100 Relay with the time of 58.83.

In the Shot Put Kylee pushed the metal sphere 21’4½”, Clarissa Moebius hurled the ball bearing 19’4.25” and Melibe put the shot for the first time 19’ 03.50”. In the Discus Throw, Clarissa flung the saucer 52.00’ and Kylee let the disc fly 49’09”.

In the men’s events, Dima Haskell earned eight place points in the 100 Meter Dash with the time of 12.05, William Ripley ran a 13.09, Oliver Gorsuch ran a 13.47, Brayden Keller-Decoteau ran a 13.71, Wyatt Allred sprinted a 13.88 and Justus Mills finished in 16.20. In the 200 Meter Dash, Brayden was truckin’ down the runway and finished with a 28.71, Xavier Swiger sprinted to the finish line in 30.73 and Justus Mills finished in 33.49.

Hayden Amende earned some points in the 400 Meter Dash with a 59.97 finish. The 4X100 Relay team of Oliver Gorsuch, Wyatt Allred, William Ripley and Dima Haskel earned a fifth place finish with the time of 51.32. In the High Jump, Hayden cleared 5’00”.

In the Long Jump, Dima sailed through the air for 19’01” to earn a third place finish. Hayden Amende flew through the air for 36’.00.50” in the Triple Jump. In the Shot Put, William Ripley tossed the metal sphere 39’ 2.25”, Oliver launched the shot 36’0.75” and Wyatt Allred shot the cannon for 35’1.25”. In the Discus Throw, Dima took seventh place when he put the Discus into orbit for 103’08”, Wyatt launched the disc for 89’08”, Brayden launched the saucer for 61’11”.

The Wolves are headed to Douglas on Friday and Sheridan for the Dan Hansen Memorial on Saturday.
