    The Moorcroft Post Prom Committee had a fun and successful post prom celebration for the students and their dates. With being able to use the fire hall as a location, they were able to provide a spacious and adequate environment for the students and all of the activities made available for them.     Applications for ambulance drivers to join the Pine Haven Volunteer EMS crew are requested immediately, according to Fire Chief TJ Gideon. “We are in desperate need of drivers; anyone who would like to volunteer, contact me or Dusty Downey with EMS,” he said. Those interested in this volunteer position are not obligated to take EMT classes or learn any other responsibilities of first responders, neither to fight fire nor to directly work with patients.     A letter of Interest was sent to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) a couple of weeks ago regarding Pine Haven's plan to again seek funding to continue the bike path through town. HDR's Heath Turbiville discussed the amount and purpose of the grant at the workshop earlier in the month. Rod was born on June 28, 1937, to Walter and Ruth (Davis) Hancock in Twin Bridges, Montana and graduated from high school in 1955. On August 9, 1959, Rod was united in marriage to Mary Margareth Kaatz. In August of 1961, Rod joined the US Army and served until July of 1963.     Barbara Leila Redinger Macdonald, 87, passed away April 22, 2023 in Spearfish, South Dakota. Barbara was born February 23, 1936 in Deadwood, South Dakota, to Paul W and Loretta I (Cook) Redinger. Barbara was baptized, confirmed and attended the Old Apostolic Lutheran church her entire life. Her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior was very strong. I am happy to see the Governor, wildlife biologists and sportsmen’s groups are already working to restore wildlife populations devastated by the perfect storm of a severe winter following years of extreme drought.
