    After missing last year’s event because of the COVID-19 lockdown, the Moorcroft Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) hosted their 2021 Spring Fling Cleanup Day last Thursday.   • Derelict buildings to be torn down

    Three derelict town-owned commercial buildings along the west side of North Big Horn Avenue in Moorcroft have been an ongoing issue for Moorcroft’s council. The town contracted with a local resident to tear them down a couple of years ago only to have the problem return when the agreement fell through.     Sundance and Moorcroft will see their rest areas re-open for the 2021 tourist season, and possibly beyond.     Strata Energy, Inc. has extended the deadline for Crook County high school graduates to apply for Strata’s Community Energy and Opportunity scholarships. Strata scholarships are available to students graduating from a Crook County high school or Crook County accredited home-school program.
