  • Awesome end to season for Wolves football team

    Clayton McSpadden|Oct 27, 2022

It was an awesome game! The boys were ready to play as hard as ever, and they did just that. It was an awesome way to end the season and the high school careers for our seniors. Our O-line did a great job being led by Kyler Smith and Dane Connally and our backs played lights out being led by James Long and Richie Allison. It was an awesome game all around for these boys! We ended the game with a score of Moorcroft 72, Guernsey 6. It is also a great way to start next year on a very positive...

  • Wolves step up

    Clayton McSpadden|Oct 20, 2022

The athletes all did very well this weekend; we are so close to getting everything put together. We had a lot of young guys step up and play their butts off. Dane Connally had an outstanding day on the offensive side of the ball as well as in his amazing kicking game. A couple of mistakes here and there really made us shoot ourselves in the foot and those all added up to being big deals at the end of the game. I am still and always will be so proud of this team. We ended the game with a score of Wright 26, Moorcroft 6....

  • Football teaches life lessons

    Clayton McSpadden|Oct 13, 2022

We played our best overall game on Friday against Lusk. The boys were playing together and working their tails off for the common goal of victory, but that's the hardest part about life: sometimes you work so hard for something, do everything right and you still don't get it. We ended the game with a score of Lusk 30, Moorcroft 18. There are a lot of lessons to be learned about life that football can teach us and these boys are learning them. I am still so proud of these boys and I am so...

  • Wolves challenged by Lingle

    Clayton McSpadden|Oct 6, 2022

The team did very well this weekend. We are still focusing on the little things and learning how to be true football players, but we are getting better each day. We ended the game with a score of Lingle-Fort Laramie 55, Moorcroft 6. We have three more games before season’s end, two at home. Come out and support the Wolves!...

  • Wolves lack experience, not courage

    Clayton McSpadden|Sep 29, 2022

The number one football team in the state, Pine Bluffs, made the long trip up to play the Wolves this last weekend. It was quickly evident that they are the number one team for a reason. However, just like the Pack we are, we never once gave up and we continued to give our best effort all night. We have a lot of work to still do, we aren't quite all firing on the same cylinder, but we are getting closer each and every day. We have come so far and I am so excited for these boys to continue to...

  • Wolves continue to show improvement

    Clayton McSpadden|Sep 22, 2022

The Wolves Football team was on the road on Friday for a game vs. Southeast. The game was immediately delayed due to a small storm, but it didn’t put things behind by more than half an hour. The boys came out a little unsettled, but quickly came into their own and started playing Moorcroft ball. They were able to establish an effective run game behind a much-improved offensive line. Defensively, the team was able to hold off the run attack that Southeast is so well known for. The Wolves never gave in and continued to fight until the end. The P...

  • Wolves football season begins

    Clayton McSpadden|Sep 15, 2022

The Wolves football team came out against Greybull Sept. 1 in the first away game of the season. The boys came out extremely emotional and extremely excited and, as with anything, this causes some boys to act without thinking. Once some mistakes were made, which we knew would happen, the boys settled down and began to play one heck of a game. It was a very physical game all around. Greybull was much bigger, faster and stronger than us. However, that never once stopped the Wolves from fighting for each stop and each yard. I am extremely pleased...
