    The Moorcroft Lady Wolves wrapped up their volleyball season this past weekend as they hosted the 3A Northeast Regional Tournament on their home court. The girls first took the court against the Douglas Bearcats. The Bearcats came out on top, but the Wolves played hard, coming up with 12 kills and four aces.     Busy week for MHS volleyball

    The Lady Wolves had a busy week of volleyball, traveling to Wright on Friday and hosting the Newcastle Dogies on Saturday. Our freshman team started off Friday on the right foot, splitting sets with the Panthers, scoring 16-25 and 25-21. The Wolves played hard and made some great gains throughout the game.     This weekend Moorcroft played in the Gillette Volleyball Tournament. On Friday, Varsity played Spearfish, Cheyenne Central and Kelly Walsh. Although falling short, the girls played with their all and improved their skills from the last tournament. On Saturday, the girls started off playing Sundance and took it to three sets with Sundance, winning 15-11.     Over the weekend, the Moorcroft Lady Wolves Varsity and Junior Varsity teams traveled to Douglas for a tournament, while our freshman team went to a tournament in Newcastle. It was a weekend of growth and learning. On Friday, the Varsity team fell to Alliance, Douglas and Southeast. Although the scores did not show in our favor, the team made huge improvements every time they stepped on the court.
