    Dayne Humes was crowned champion at state, among several wrestlers who placed this year. The Wolves wrestlers ended their season placing second with 170 team points at the state tournament; as a whole, between 2A, 3A and 4A, they placed eighth out of 50 teams.     A Moorcroft resident was killed on Tuesday in a vehicle crash that took place on the interstate near Moorcroft. The crash occurred when a passenger vehicle collided with a semi truck that was experiencing engine troubles. The incident took place at around 8:58 a.m. on February 22, at milepost 162 eastbound.     The Wolves wrestled their last season tournament this past weekend at the Wyoming High School Athletic Association State Championships in Casper. Competing in the 2A state class, they placed second out of 21 teams. They qualified 20 wrestlers and came home with one state champion, one runner up and many placers throughout.     The Lady Wolves traveled to Pine Bluffs for the 2A East Regional Tournament on Thursday. Their first opponent was the Lady Rams from Big Horn. Big Horn played with the Wolves in the first half and the Wolves found themselves ahead 23-14 going into the half.     On Thursday, the Wolves boys basketball team traveled to Pine Bluffs, WY for Regional basketball. The Wolves took on the Tongue River Eagles in the first round late Thursday night. The Eagles jumped out on top early and took a 16-7 lead going into the second quarter. In the second quarter, the Eagles scored often and took a 43-14 lead into halftime.
